Mrs. Moon Hye-rim, who founded Durebang in March 1986, laid the foundation for providing counseling, English and Korean classes, cooking classes, the bread project as a self-reliance project, and operating a playroom and study room for women in the camptowns until she resigned in 1991.

After that, Director Lee Seong-hye revitalized the camptown activities from 1992 to 1996, and Director Yoo Young-nim laid the foundation for Durebang for 21 years from 1997.

Since 2018, Director Kim Eun-jin has taken over the baton and has been actively working
